Hi, I'm Roland.
Raft guide, nature lover and founder of TraunXperience. I live in Lambach and know every metre of the Lower Traun – from the Traun Falls to Paurakirche.
What started as a passion is now my profession: showing people the beauty of the Traun and giving them unforgettable experiences on the water.
The Story
TraunXperience was born in 2025 from a simple conviction: the Lower Traun is one of Upper Austria's most beautiful and least-known river stretches – and it deserves to be carefully discovered.
After years of passionate paddling on various rivers across Europe, it was clear to me: the Traun has everything. Crystal-clear water, an impressive gorge, a rich cultural history and an intact Natura 2000 ecosystem right on my doorstep in Lambach.
With TraunXperience, I want to share this passion – responsibly, sustainably and with a smile. Whether you paddle alone, come with family or plan a corporate event: on the Traun, you're always in the right place.

Certified Raft Guide
Trained to international standards. Regular continuing education and refresher courses.
Outdoor First Aid
Certified first aider specialising in outdoor and water accidents. First aid kit always on board.
SUP Instructor (GSUPA)
Certified SUP instructor of the German Stand Up Paddle Association. Professional training in technique, safety and teaching methods.

Natura 2000 Responsibility. As a business operating within a nature reserve, we bear a special responsibility. We strictly adhere to conservation regulations and actively support the preservation of this unique ecosystem.
