Dive in, don't just dip your toes! Scuben – river snorkelling – lets you experience the Traun from its most spectacular angle: underwater. Crystal-clear water, fascinating fish species and an underwater world like no other.
What is Scuben?
Scuben is river snorkelling – you float downstream wearing a wetsuit, mask and snorkel, observing the underwater world of the Traun. Trout, grayling, nase and – with a bit of luck – even huchen (Danube salmon) glide beneath you.
The Traun is one of the cleanest rivers in Europe with visibility up to 10 metres. An experience you can only find here.
In cooperation with flusstauchen.at – Franky Pramendorfer, state-certified diving instructor, guides you safely through the adventure.
"5000 Fish Tour" – Scuben + Boat Trip
Scuben: €94 per person
Tour (€54) + equipment rental (€21) + snorkel course (€19). Certified divers/snorkellers: course fee waived.
Approx. 5 km route including a 400-metre rapids section as the highlight. Trout, grayling, barbel schools of up to 600 fish, and with some luck even huchen (Danube salmon).
Combo ticket: Scuben + boat tour — on request. The perfect full day for nature lovers.
