How your group outing works

Arrival & Bus Parking
Your bus parks free directly at the starting point. Also easily accessible by public transport – only approx. 30 minutes from Linz or Lake Traunsee. We welcome your group and distribute the equipment.

Safety Briefing
Safety briefing, life jackets on, paddling technique – explained in a fun and accessible way.

Trip on the Traun
Paddle together through the Natura 2000 reserve – 2–5 hours depending on the programme.

Catering & Activities
Optional: snacks & drinks by the water, games. Or continue to the abbey visit.

Arrival
You arrive back at the starting point at your vehicle. Total duration 3–6 hours depending on programme.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is there bus parking available?
Yes, free bus parking is available directly at the starting point. Coordinates and directions will be provided after booking.
Are there changing facilities?
Basic changing facilities are available. We recommend wearing swimwear under your regular clothes. Valuables can be left on the bus.
Is catering available?
On request, we can organise a catering package with snacks & drinks by the water (extra charge). You are also welcome to bring your own food. Drinks are always recommended!
What happens in bad weather?
In case of thunderstorms or high water, the date is rescheduled free of charge. Light rain is no problem – adventure in any weather!
How far in advance should we enquire?
For bus groups, we recommend at least 4–6 weeks lead time. The earlier, the better – especially in high season (June–August).
