The Traun Gorge is one of the most impressive river sections in Upper Austria. Paddle through steep rock walls, past dense riparian forests and discover the biodiversity of the Natura 2000 reserve.
The Adventure
The Traun Gorge offers a pure nature experience – from calm passages to gentle rapids. Depending on the route and weather, you'll enjoy a unique blend of adventure, tranquillity and nature observation.
Kingfishers, damselflies and rare plant species accompany you along the way. The route passes through one of the last untouched river ecosystems in Central Europe.
Especially popular with school groups: With an educational guide, the trip becomes a project day – combining river ecology, biology and teamwork.

Taster Course (approx. 2h)
Ideal for beginners: upstream on a SUP. Safety briefing, river ecology and paddling technique.
